The Expo spans several venues, with three main sites: Awaji, Sumoto and Minami Awaji. Akashi Kaikyo National Park, opened in 2002, covers 100 hectares of land and features flower beds, ponds, and brooks. Sumoto City offers historical sites, including castle ruins and the Former Ekishukan Garden. At the southern tip of the island, Awaji Farm Park England Hill invites visitors to interact with animals like rabbits, koalas, and sheep. In mid-April, over 100,000 nemophila flowers bloom here.

Other Highlights

Beyond the main venues, the island offers more floral and nature experiences. In Awaji City, the Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Landscape Horticultural School showcases both domestic and international plants. Minami Awaji City is home to the beautiful Keino Pine Grove beach.

Several shrines and temples participate in the Expo for those interested in spirituality. Kokuzei Zenji Temple is renowned for its peonies, and near Mount Yuzuruha, you can explore Yuzuhura Shrine and the Akagashi Forest, a sacred natural monument.
