Kiroro Ski Resort

Kiroro Ski Resort is in Akaigawa, 43 kilometers west of Sapporo and 28 kilometers from Otaru. It attracts winter sports fans with its great snowfall and variety of terrains. Known for its abundant “Japow” or Japanese powder, Kiroro has earned a reputation as one of Hokkaido’s premier skiing destinations.

Established in 1991, Kiroro Snow World stands out as one of the newer yet most impressive ski resorts in Hokkaido. The ski area is divided between two prominent mountains: Asari and Nagamine, each offering its unique terrain and spectacular views.
